My name is Kerstin Weule and I am an experienced massage therapist, movement educator and sports trainer.

I graduated in 1998 with honors from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado (MTIC) with certifications in Swedish, deep tissue and sports massage as well as neuromuscular therapy and integrative massage. I furthered my studies with certifications in Thai Massage from the Thai Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand (2004) as well as level 1&2 Reiki (2007). In 2009 I partook in a Self-Care level Mayan Abdominal Massage workshop and in 2010 I added Tibetan/Himalayan Healing and Singing bowls to my repetoir.

I hold a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from the German Sports College of Cologne (Deutsche Sporthochschule Koeln - 1989) as well as certifications with distinction in Pilates and Gyrotonics (1. Phoenix Center of Health Excellence - Denver, CO, 1995 2. the original Pilates Institute in Santa Fe, NM, 3. Polestar Approach to Rehabilitation 1997-98) which I taught for 12 years at a holistic health care facility in Denver, CO as the main instructor. I also completed a level 1 clinical application course in Feldenkrais (1992).

My athletic background is in Swimming (3 time German Team Champion), Modern Pentathlon (German National B-Team), and 8 years as a professional triathlete world wide.

The focus of my work is in injury prevention and treatment as well as stress reduction and relaxation through the use of Swedish and deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, sports massage and other related modalities. I also incorporate Thai massage movements and Reiki as well as the healing bowls into my sessions.
In addition I can teach Pilates, Gyrotonics and Feldenkrais based movements to clients to help with the understanding of proper alignment as well as facilitate faster healing and prevention of injuries.
